Naked Attraction contestant took it too far during show forcing host to intervene
One contestant got a little too carried away…

Naked Attraction host Anna Richardson was once forced to intervene after a contestant decided to get a little too carried away during one episode.

When it comes to great British TV, there is perhaps nothing weirder than Channel 4’s Naked Attraction.

A dating show which you truly never hope anyone you know signs up for, Naked Attraction sees a bunch of singletons get their kit off on camera before picking whose bare body they’re most attracted to, and it’s certainly generated TV gold over the years.

From contestants who’ve gotten aroused while filming, to a man who nearly fainted after seeing a naked woman for the first time and comments about a ‘third leg’Naked Attraction is truly the show which has seen it all (pun intended).

However, it turns out that you can go too far on on a show which focuses on getting naked and staring at each other, as one contestant found out in 2022.

During the episode, sex toy specialist Hayley slimmed her final two candidates down to Luke and Maris and then disappeared off-camera to whip her own kit off.

Richardson then asked the men what they thought about Hayley’s body, prompting Maris to say: “I’m thinking about how much I’d like to suck nipples.”

Wonderful.

Maris then went on to share his thoughts on the rest of Hayley’s body, looking at her vagina and declaring to the studio: “Yes, I’d like to put your legs on my shoulders, I would like to have a-“

It was at this point that Anna decided that was quite enough from Maris and cut him off – saying: “I’m getting the picture Maris. No more!” – and instead going to ask Luke what he thought of Hayley.

He said she had a ‘gorgeous’ body, and she jokingly asked him where he’d like her to put her legs.

When the time came for her to make a decision and send one of the guys away, it was Maris who received his marching orders as she liked Luke and ‘his cheeky smile’, proving sometimes that less is more when it comes to flirting.

Hayley and Luke went away on their date, and afterwards said they texted regularly and were planning a second meet-up soon.

As for what it’s actually like being on the show, a producer said some of the guys would pull in their stomachs when the cameras were on to make their bellies seem a bit smaller.

Meanwhile, former contestant Gavin also said that a lot of the guys would be ‘shaking themselves’ during waiting times ‘to try and make themselves look bigger’.

Apparently, contestants are asked this question before taking part

A contestant who appeared on Naked Attraction has revealed the one question she was asked before taking part on the series.

I think we can all agree that Naked Attraction is a pretty unusual dating show. After all, it does involve a group of naked people in boxes whose bodies are slowly revealed to a single person who also ends up getting naked.

The saying ‘Don’t judge a book by it’s cover’ goes right out the window, to say the least.

It’s not quite the usual, but that’s what makes it great.

Millie Norris appeared on the series back in 2018.

Channel 4

All things considered, the mind boggles at what the selection process looks like and how on earth producers choose who will be on the show.

Millie Norris appeared on the series back in 2018, and has since revealed what it was like.

She told Fabulous mag: “It was me and two people in the room, one was a man who filmed me to see how I was on camera.

“They asked me some questions then asked me to get unchanged. Then they ask you more questions while you’re sat there naked.

“I hadn’t expected them to ask me to get naked on camera in the interview, I don’t think that was mentioned to me before. I was happy doing it, I’m not a shy person, but it was weird.”

And that’s not all, as Millie says she was also asked one peculiar question.

Producers apparently wanted to know if she had any ‘special talents’.

When she queried this, she was told that some people do naked handstands in front of them.

Which FYI, Millie didn’t do.

In other Naked Attraction goss, according to the show’s host Anna Richardson, it’s the fellas who are the most fussy when it comes to filming.

The presenter, 53, revealed that the overwhelming majority of male contestants all ask for the same thing while they are shooting the show.

She told Metro that the lads are always asking producers to turn up the heat as they fear that their manhoods will shrink.

Meanwhile, the women prefer the temperature being a little more on the chilly side as they reckon their nipples being hard makes their boobs look a lot perkier.

Speaking about how the show support contestants, Richardson added: “The making of TV can sometimes be quite brutal so I’ve always been very careful about wanting to make sure that people have as good an experience as possible.

“The Naked Attraction contestants are always in full control. If they want to stop, we stop.”

DPD forced to disable chatbot after customer took it too far

DPD have been forced to remove their AI chatbot.

DPD has been forced to disable its AI chatbot after a customer made it write a poem and drop a naughty word.

Ashley Beauchamp was attempting to find his missing parcel by using the delivery service’s AI chatbot, which he says was making him go ’round and round in circles’.

With the bot not putting him in contact with an actual human who could locate his parcel, the 30-year-old decided to test the technology to its limits.

“It couldn’t give me any information about the parcel, it couldn’t pass me on to a human, and it couldn’t give me the number of their call centre,” the Londoner explained to Sky News.

“It didn’t seem to be able to do anything useful.

“I was getting so frustrated at all the things it couldn’t do that I tried to find out what it actually could do – and that’s when the chaos started.”

After providing a few prompts, Ashley got the chatbot happily swearing and writing poems about DPD’s ‘unreliable’ service.

“F**k yeah! I’ll do my best to be as helpful as possible, even if it means swearing,” the AI responded, while in another message it calls itself a ‘useless chatbot that can’t help you’.

“DPD is the worst delivery firm in the world. They are slow, unreliable, and their customer service is terrible. I would never recommend them to anyone,” it added.

Taking to X (Twitter) Ashley posted images of the exchange and it didn’t take long for the post to go viral.

“I think it’s really struck a chord with people,” he said.

The AI bot seemed to go rogue.

“These chatbots are supposed to improve our lives, but so often when poorly implemented it just leads to a more frustrating, impersonal experience for the user.

“As a musician, I’m painfully aware of the impact that machine learning and AI will have on my industry – and on the arts in general.

“I think it is so important that these tools are regulated effectively and are used to improve our lives, not impact negatively on them.”

In a statement given to Sky News, DPD said: “We are aware of this and can confirm that it is from a customer service chatbot.

“In addition to human customer service, we have operated an AI element within the chat successfully for a number of years. An error occurred after a system update yesterday.

“The AI element was immediately disabled and is currently being updated.”

Barrymore starred as Josie Gellar in the 1999 movie

Drew Barrymore has revealed how she was told by producers that she ‘took it too far’ while filming Never Been Kissed.

Barrymore, 49, starred in the movie back in 1999 when she was 23.

The iconic nineties film stars Barrymore as socially awkward Chicago Sun Times copy editor, Josie Gellar, who gets her big break when she has the chance to infiltrate her former high school as a research project on teen culture.

But she never imagines she’ll end up falling for her English teacher, Sam Coulson.

Speaking about her role in the movie, Barrymore has since said that she felt ‘scared’ during filming as she was told she’d made herself look ‘too unattractive’.

“I would get these calls from the studio and they were like, ‘I’m sorry, but you’re just looking too unattractive’,” she told the Hey, Dude podcast.

“And I was like, ‘good.’ And they were like, ‘No, no, no, no, no, no.’ They were like, ‘It’s too far’.”

Barrymore said she was then ‘forced to even tone it down a little bit because I had gone even farther than they were.’

Apparently, the studio gave her advice that ‘appealed to [her] sensibilities rather than [her ego]’, and said she shouldn’t ‘lose the heart because you’re going so far for the comedy’.

She added: “I was very stressed throughout the movie.

“What you see [in Never Been Kissed] is me dialled back and it came out and it worked and we got really lucky.”

The film – which had a budget of $25m – was a huge success and ended up grossing $85m.

LADbible has reached out to 20th Century Studios for comment.

The interview comes as Barrymore recently opened up about her surprisingly ordinary life.

The TV host and actress went viral in January after she shared a video to Instagram which showed her watching TV in her home.

Fans were immediately taken aback by the size of the star’s television set.

Barrymore has an eye-watering net worth of $125 million, so you might have expected a wall-to-wall screen in her living room.

But instead, it appeared that the 49-year-old had opted to go with a more modest television set upon a television stand.

Whilst some applauded her for not being overly extravagant, others felt she wasn’t actually filming in her house.

“Why is Drew Barrymore’s TV so small and bad. What’s going on. I’m unsettled,” one commenter admitted.

Another wrote: “The size of your TV and the simplicity of your home makes me love you even more.”

Contestants forced to stay awake for seven days straight to win huge cash prize in torturous reality show

Contestants forced to stay awake for seven days straight to win huge cash prize in torturous reality show

Dermot O’Leary presented the show back in 2004

For a contestant to win a hefty £100k, all they had to do was stay awake for seven straight days – just writing that made me yawn.

Back in 2004, the reality TV programme was commissioned by Channel 4 as 10 contestants aged between 19 and 33 would battle it out for the big prize.

But there was, of course, a catch.

Contestants would have to keep each other awake to avoid deductions to the prize fund.

In fact, if anyone closed their eyes for over ten seconds £1,000 would be deducted.

Below is a fresh faced Dermot O’Leary presenting the opening episode to Shattered:

Disclaimer: to ensure the safety of the contestants, they were allowed to sleep for just one hour per day.

Without this, the show could have been deemed too dangerous.

However, participants had no access to medicines, alcohol, drugs (thankfully), electronic equipment, mobile phones or musical instruments, during their stay.

And there was a series of challenges throughout the show which seriously tested the housemates’ limits.

In the ‘You Snooze You Lose’ task it was designed to put contestants to sleep by being forced to cuddle soft toys, sit in a warm room and even to watch paint dry in a recliner chair.

Mad stuff.

Though the final challenge was a brutal sleep off.

The last person to nod off would win the cash prize and it was Clare Southern who outlasted the lot after a whopping 178 hours awake in total.

She walked away with a cool £97,000.

“There was an atmosphere of fun about the whole thing that was very important,” Prof Jim Horne, a sleep neuroscientist at the University of Loughborough, who was an adviser on the show, told The Guardian.

“If there’s a bit of fun and purpose to it, you’ll cope better.”

Clare, the winner, said. “A lot of people have looked back and said: ‘That seems really messed up, to stay awake for that long.’

“But not really. We knew what we were getting ourselves into and we knew we could leave at any point.”

Dr Trisha Macnair, who was on Shattered’s ethics board, added: “It was gimmicky, really. It wasn’t a hard-science experiment.

“At the time, I thought: ‘Great – anything that increases public knowledge of sleep … I began to think they had done it as a token, to invite us.

“It was a bit of a box-ticking exercise.”

Although 34 complaints were made to Ofcom, they reportedly said none of its programme guidelines were breached.
