Joe Rogan’s prediction about the wildfire that has spread through California and is now affecting Los Angeles has ended up being accurate.
Granted, this is a prediction he’s made several times throughout the years on his podcast and has some first-hand experience with since he lived in California for years and was evacuated from his home multiple times.
The fires that have spread across the US state this week have resulted in thousands of people being evacuated from their homes, and many of those homes have been burned to the ground by the rampaging inferno.
Strong winds have carried the fire across great distances and caused it to spread quickly, and a state of emergency has been declared in California.
The notorious podcaster used to live in California, but in 2020 moved out to Texas citing a number of concerns including the stricter Covid-19 restrictions that California had during the pandemic, and he has since claimed that it has gone ‘full communist’.

Apart from that, Rogan also regularly brought up the wildfires that regularly plague California, having said that he was evacuated from his home three times and was ‘always waiting for the next fire’.
In one of his episodes of The Joe Rogan Experience, he said that the last time he’d been evacuated ‘two houses in front of my house burnt to the ground’.
Rogan also recounted a conversation he had with a firefighter who told him that LA had been ‘lucky’ with the wind and said that if it was blowing in the wrong direction it’d be devastating for the city.
“He goes, ‘One day, it’s just going to be the right wind, and fire’s gonna start in the right place, and it’s going to burn through LA all the way to the ocean, and there’s not a f**king thing we can do about it’,” Rogan said of the firefighter’s warning.
In a 2018 episode back when Rogan was still living in California, Derren Brown went on the podcast and said he’d had to avoid the fires to make it in.

In that episode Rogan echoed the firefighter’s warning that the wind could spread the fire across LA, and in a 2019 episode with David Wallace-Wells, the podcaster was told that because of climate change, the California wildfires could get up to ’64 times worse’ by the end of this century.
It’s something Rogan brings up a lot on his show, and with the frequency of wildfires in Californi, it was bound to happen.
Some months before the latest devastating fires one of California’s biggest insurers, State Farm, cancelled a plethora of insurance policies on houses in Pacific Palisades according to Newsweek.
Pacific Palisades is one of the areas that has been devastated by the fires, and the company cancelled insurance policies to avoid ‘financial failure’.
People living in areas prone to being scorched by wildfire are finding it increasingly difficult to get their houses insured, meaning that if they lose their home to the flames they won’t be covered for their loss.
Wildfires across California have forced over 100,000 people to evacuate their homes, including some of Hollywood’s biggest names.
A state of emergency was declared by the governor of the American state after a wildfire went out of control, spreading across Los Angeles.
The flames have destroyed houses and scorched the land, as strong winds helped the fire progress.
There are now at least six wildfires, the BBC reports, including one that made its way through the Pacific Palisades area of LA.
This area is known for being the home of many celebrities, who were forced away from their homes after the area was ablaze on Tuesday night (7 January).

At least five people have been killed and over 1,000 structures have been destroyed so far, officials have said, as per AP.
Residents in the area were made to flee the apocalyptic conditions that arrived in their aesthetic neighbourhoods, as the fires were helped along by wind gusts up to 70 mph.
This made it too difficult for aircraft to combat the fire from above, though this began on Wednesday morning (8 January).
Now, several A-listers have been left without a home after their property was devastated by the conditions, which firefighters continue to combat.

The When Harry Met Sally actor’s home has nothing remaining, except for the tennis courts.
Crystal and his wife, Janice, have since shared a heartbreaking statement with fans, confirming the demise of their family home.
He wrote: “Janice and I lived in our home since 1979.
“We raised our children and grandchildren here. Every inch of our house was filled with love. Beautiful memories that can’t be taken away.
“We are heartbroken of course but with the love of our children and friends we will get through this.”

The actor behind Luke Skywalker shared that a ‘last-minute’ evacuation forced him to flee his Malibu home, confirming that he saw ‘small fires’ on ‘both sides of the road’.
He noted as he reached the Pacific Coast Highway that it was the ‘most horrific fire’ in over 30 years.

The Freaky Friday star evacuated her home for her own safety.
She took to Instagram, writing: “My community and possibly my home is on fire.”
Curtis added: “My family is safe. Many of my friends will lose their homes. Many other communities as well.
“There are so many conflicting reports. With all the technology there seems to be very little information. PLEASE POST FACTS! IT WILL HELP THOSE WONDERING!”
In an update, she shared that her home was safe.

Hilton took to Twitter mourn the loss of her Malibu home, writing: “Heartbroken beyond words. Sitting with my family, watching the news, and seeing our home in Malibu burn to the ground on live TV is something no one should ever have to experience.
“This home was where we built so many precious memories. It’s where Phoenix took his first steps and where we dreamed of building a lifetime of memories with London.
“While the loss is overwhelming, I’m holding onto gratitude that my family is safe. My heart and prayers are going out to every family affected by these fires.
“To all the people who have lost their homes, their memories, and their beloved pets. My heartaches for those still in harm’s way or mourning greater losses.

Not one to shy away from voicing his opinion, Joe Rogan has described Vatican City as a place that is ‘filled with pedophiles and stolen art’ in a recent episode of his infamous podcast show.
The host of The Joe Rogan Experience made the remarks during episode 1848, with fellow comedians Francis Foster and Konstantin Kisin.
At one point during the show, the guys started talking about the world’s smallest sovereign state, and the alleged crimes that have taken place within the Vatican.
Situated within Italy’s capital city of Rome, the Vatican is home to the Pope, who is just one of its 453 full-time residents.
The catalyst for Rogan’s comments about the Vatican seems to have stemmed from a conversation about scandals in the world – and how – in his opinion – some get more air time than others.
“Even the outrage about things you should be outraged about, like Jeffrey Epstein, that outrage was balanced. Right? Sort of. Right?” the 54-year-old pondered.
Regarding Vatican City, Rogan said: “It’s a country filled with paedophiles. It’s a country filled with paedophiles and stolen art.
“It’s a small, like hundred yard – like what is it? A hundred acres, I think. Yeah. It’s a hundred acre rather, country inside of a city filled with pedophiles.”

Rogan’s comments are nothing new as there have been numerous scandals involving the Catholic church – and alleged cover-ups that have been conducted at the behest of the Vatican.
Decades worth of historic sexual abuse committed against children has been uncovered over the past 20 years – most notably by the Boston Globe.
Their investigation into alleged wrongdoing on the part of the Catholic church, which was dramatised in the award winning movie Spotlight, showed how the church allowed pedophile Priests to continue working unpunished.
Kisin said Rogan could get sued for libel if he made those claims in the UK, because he would literally have to prove the Vatican is ‘filled with paedophiles’.
Well, Rogan said in response that ‘you can kind of prove that’, in reference to the Globe’s landmark investigation.

Between 2004 to 2014, the Catholic church defrocked 848 priests for the sexual abuse of children, with another 2,572 priests also sanctioned.
Later in the same episode of The Joe Rogan Experience, the three men were appalled to discover the age of consent in the Vatican used to be just 12 years old.
Kisin said: “I hope that’s not true,” only for the UFC commentator to reply with: “Oh my God, it’s true,” upon seeming proof of the fact online.
The state’s age of consent has since been raised from 12 to 18 under the leadership of Pope Francis, who remains in place at the Vatican.
The pontiff has also generated headlines for his recent trip to Canada, where he publicly apologised to indigenous people for the horrific abuse they faced at the hands of Catholic priests historically.

Mel made the slight during an interview with The Art of Dialogue, questioning whether the musician deserved his spot on Billboard’s Top 50 Rappers of All-time list.
Though the 62-year-old admitted that Eminem was a ‘capable rapper’, he pointedly told fans: “So now if Eminem was another n**** like all the rest of us, would he be Top 5 on that list when a n**** that could rhyme just as good as him is 35?
“That had records and all that? He’s 35. He’s white.”
Naturally, Shady then responded with a diss track called ‘Realest’, during which he utterly destroyed the veteran singer.
Collaborating with upcoming artist and Shady Records signee Ez Mil, he rapped: “Hip Hop has been good to me, huh But when they say that I’m only Top 5 ’cause I’m white, why would I be stunned?
“My skin colours still working against me/’Cause second, I should be, to none. Bein’ white being why they put me at five (Nope)
“That’s why they can’t put me at one.”
However, the ‘Rap God’ wasn’t quite done there, and even hit out at Mel’s alleged steroid use later in the track. (Ouch)

In a breakout moment, the ‘Mockingbird’ singer paid tribute to the veteran performer’s music, before delivering the final blow.
He continued: “Shoutout to Furious Five and Grandmaster Flash, but boy… There’s someone who really is furious.
“Stay out his path, his wrath avoid. It’ll be the last to toy with a juice head whose brain is half destroyed, like a meteor hit it…”
“Now with Melle Mel, he lost his ass to ‘roids,” concluded the rapper.
Whilst Eminem has come out as the obvious winner, Mel has yet to give up the fight and has made a response track of his own.
During his song, the 62-year-old referred to Shady as ‘Pee-Wee Herman’ and asked why they’d put him in the Hall of Fame.
Though fans might not be hyped for this rap battle, it seems that the two musicians are ready for round two already.
Podcast host and UFC commentator Joe Rogan has revealed the guest that he refused to have on his podcast after he was ‘caught lying’.
Rogan is responsible for hosting the most popular podcast in the world, The Joe Rogan Experience, which boasts over 14.5 million followers on Spotify and 16.4 million subscribers on YouTube.
However, the 57-year-old has named the man who ‘tried real hard’ to get on his famous podcast after being exposed by a leaked email.
The person in question is known as the Liver King, real name Brian Johnson, as the fitness influencer was forced to admit to using steroids despite telling viewers that he had nothing unprocessed in his diet, eating solely raw foods.
Johnson claimed that the persona he adopted online was an ‘experiment’, with the leaked emails revealing that he was taking unnatural products to help maintain his shredded physique for thousands of dollars.
Speaking to fans on social media about his fraudulent ‘ancestral diet’, Johnson said in 2022: “I’m here now to set the record straight.
“Yes, I’ve done steroids, and yes, I’m on steroids, monitored and managed by a trained hormone clinician. Liver King, the public figure, was an experiment to spread the message,” he claimed.

The admission came after Rogan’s claims that Johnson’s proposed lifestyle was fake and even accused him of putting artificial products in his body, which proved to be right.
Speaking on one of his podcast episodes with Derek from the More Plates More Dates YouTube channel, who leaked the emails exposing Johnson, Rogan spoke more about the Liver King.
“There is no way you can look like that, in your 40’s… he’s preposterously jacked,” he stated.
“Now that we know he is full of s***… we are talking about the Liver King, by the way,” Rogan clarified.
The podcast host went on: “He was telling people that he gets that away by sunning his balls… he literally lays down with his a*****e staring at the sun and eats raw liver and just lifts like a maniac, and that’s how he’s so jacked. It’s preposterous.”
Derek said that Johnson was ‘lying through his teeth’ as they spoke about the topic, explaining that ‘there’s too many polar extremes’ for there to be a successful ‘unique marketing spin’.
“A lot of people will take a guy’s word when it’s a private conversation and when he’s straight up telling you in person…he was just lying through his teeth seemingly,” he said of Johnson’s drug use.

But Rogan further revealed that he ran into Johnson at one of boxer Canelo Alvarez’s fights, admitting: “He was front row at one of my shows in Vegas at the MGM.
“Then I saw him again at the [Saul] Canelo [Alvarez] fight. He was trying real hard to get on the podcast and he’s been trying really hard to get on now.
“He contacted a few friends of mine and some of them, like Bert Kreischer, had him on their show. For what? Say that [apology] more? Like come on, this is dumb, man…”
He damningly stated: “You ran a con game and you got busted.
“It’s unfortunate that you feel terrible, I’m sorry you feel bad cause that’s just what happens when you get caught lying. But you didn’t have to lie.”
