Slaught — who shares two daughters with Bellamar — described her death as unexpected and admitted that it placed a significant financial burden on both her family and himself.

“Her extremely early departure from this world has caught everyone off guard and we were not prepared for this,” he said.

In an effort to cover the costs of Bellamar’s funeral, Slaught and co-beneficiary Scott Shelly created a GoFundMe campaign in January. The fundraiser was aimed at covering transportation expenses for Bellamar’s family and friends, as well as easing the financial burden on Slaught and Shelly.

The funeral was described as “modest”, but still posed an unexpected financial challenge.

Born in Florida, Bellamar moved to Toronto, Canada at an early age. She gained widespread recognition as a Playboy model before branching out into television and film.

Her most notable TV appearance came in the reality series Beverly Hills Nannies, where she portrayed herself. She also made brief appearances on The Millionaire Matchmaker and Gordon Ramsay’s Hotel Hell.

Bellamar had uncredited roles in blockbuster films, including The Suicide Squad and The Hangover Part III. She also worked as an extra on HBO’s hit series Entourage.

Bellamar made headlines during the #MeToo movement, accusing Entourage star Jeremy Piven of sexual harassment, alleging that he “fondled” her without consent on two separate occasions.

Her accusations sparked a wave of similar allegations, with three more women stepping forward to accuse Piven of misconduct.

Per Variety, Piven later denied the allegations in a statement, saying: “I unequivocally deny the appalling allegations being peddled about me. It did not happen. It takes a great deal of courage for victims to come forward with their histories, and my hope is that the allegations about me that didn’t happen, do not detract from stories that should be heard.”

Our thoughts go out to Bellamar’s family, friends, and loved ones at this time.
